In the photo below, the gray shoe on the left is the Brooks Ghost 13 and the one on the right is the new Saucony Kinvara 14. I bought the Brooks a couple of years ago because it was soft, cushioning and super smooth. The Kinvara 14 is described as a fast neutral shoe, which it is, but I had to laugh when I saw how much more padding the Saucony has than the Brooks. The Saucony has come a long way from the original version which was little more than a racing flat. I’ve been running in Kinvara’s since the first generation and I’m excited to see how the new one feels. I’ll write up a proper review once I have some miles in the new shoe.

I commented on that too. Every shoe looks like Hoka. When they first came on the scene, I vowed never to wear those odd looking shoes. Now I am on my fifth pair!
My first run in this shoe was fantastic. Light, comfortable and fast. I was super impressed.
